Pakistan speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi has made a great impact in a short period. The lanky left-arm pacer’s maiden ODI World Cup five-wicket came against Bangladesh in the 2019 World Cup. He took 6/35 as Pakistan clinched a thumping 94-run win over neighbours Bangladesh at Lord’s. The second five-wicket haul came against Australia in the 2023 World Cup league stage fixture. Afridi took 5/54 in a match where the Aussie batters piled up 367.

Mohammed Shami
